How Bravewood treats the details you share.

Steve Simonson operates Bravewood—a waterproof hybrid hardwood brand. This policy explains what we collect on bravewood.us, how advertising cookies may work if ads appear, and how to reach us.

Last updated August 27, 2026. This page covers bravewood.us, operated by Steve Simonson doing business as Bravewood.

Who we are

Bravewood is a dealer-supported waterproof hybrid hardwood brand. The site is here so homeowners and dealers can learn about floors that look like real wood and live with spills, pets, and everyday traffic—not to run a cart or checkout.

Information you give us

If you write through the contact form or the style quiz, we receive what you type—typically a name, email, and a note about your project. We use that to answer you, connect you with a dealer, or save quiz results so we can follow up. We do not sell that information.

Cookies

This site and its advertising partners may store cookies—small files in your browser—or use similar technologies such as web beacons. When ads are shown, those cookies can remember pages you have viewed (including waterproof hybrid hardwood styles) so advertising can be more relevant. They may also help measure visits.

Google AdSense and personalized ads

Bravewood may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet—personalized advertising that can reflect the rooms and products you have looked at, including waterproof hybrid hardwood pages.

Third parties, including Google, may be placing and reading cookies on your browser, or using web beacons to collect information, as a result of ad serving on bravewood.us.

You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at adssettings.google.com and google.com/settings/ads. Those pages let you turn off personalized ads or manage ad topics. Opting out does not remove all ads; it means Google ads you see are less likely to be based on your interests.

How long we keep it

Contact and quiz messages stay in our records as long as we need them to help with your request or to keep a normal business history. Advertising cookies follow Google's own retention rules, which you can review in Google's policies.
